To have a happy home, you do not need a lot of stuff! In fact, the less, the better.  Not only will you be cleaning less, but you will be able to take care of yourself first, instead of your house.

If it takes longer than 5 minutes to clean a room, declutter again.

There is no need to spend more than 5 minutes cleaning one room, every single day.  Even if you have 5 rooms in your home, you are still spending 25 minutes cleaning everyday.  If you procrastinate and clean once a week, you will be spending hours just on one day cleaning your house.  Why should we spend so much of our life cleaning our house?

The best way to stop the madness of cleaning is to declutter.

Once you realize the items in your house just sitting there can be used by someone or make you money, decluttering becomes easy.

I donate the majority of the items that build up in drawers, shelfs or closets in my home.

However, there are some gently used items that can be sold and make some extra money to pay bills.

Selling online is super easy and fast.

Also, consignment stores and events are great for getting rid of items quickly and making a portion of the sales.
